How it works
It sits behind your team and never cuts in line.
Your AI voice agent is not a new phone system, a new number, or a replacement for your front desk. It is a backstop on the line you already have, and it only speaks when a call is about to go unanswered.
The handoff
One incoming call, three possible endings.
Path 1
Your team answers
Somebody is free and picks up within your ring count. The agent never activates and the call is handled the way it always was.
Path 2
The agent answers and books
Nobody picked up. The agent takes the call, qualifies it, answers questions and puts a real appointment on your calendar.
Path 3
The agent escalates
It’s an emergency by your definition. The caller is transferred live to your on-call number, or your phone gets an immediate alert.
You control the trigger: number of rings, business hours, holidays, and whether a busy line should roll to the agent or keep ringing.
Step by step
From a ringing phone to a booked job.
-
01
The call rings your team first
We set up conditional forwarding on your existing business number. Nothing about your phones changes — your staff keeps answering exactly as they do now.
-
02
The agent picks up the ones you miss
After a ring count you choose, when every line is busy, or outside your business hours, the call reaches your AI voice agent instead of voicemail.
-
03
It answers questions and qualifies
Pricing, hours, service area, insurance, practice areas — answered from your own knowledge base, while the agent works through your intake script.
-
04
It books, escalates, or takes a message
Qualified callers get a real appointment on your calendar. Emergencies get transferred or escalated by text. Everything else is logged with a callback request.
-
05
You get a text summary within seconds
Who called, what they need, what was booked, and a link to the full transcript and recording — before you have finished the job you were on.
Getting live
We build it. You approve it. Then it answers.
You are not handed a builder and a login. We configure the agent around your business, run test calls with you, and only point real calls at it once you are satisfied with what your customers will hear.
Day 1
Discovery call
Your hours, service area, pricing, intake questions and what counts as an emergency.
Days 2–4
Build & test
We build the knowledge base, connect your calendar, and call the agent together until it sounds right.
Go live
Forwarding on
Conditional forwarding is switched on and the first call you would have lost gets answered.
FAQ
Setup questions.
Do we have to change our phone number or phone system? +
No. You keep your number and your carrier. We use conditional call forwarding, which is a setting on the line you already have — the agent only ever receives calls that would have gone unanswered.
How long does setup take? +
Most businesses go live in a few days. Building and testing the knowledge base is the part that takes real time, and we do it with you rather than handing you a blank bot to configure.
What if the agent doesn’t know an answer? +
It says so plainly, takes the caller’s details, and flags the question for your team. Unanswered questions show up in your summaries, which is how the knowledge base keeps improving.
Can we listen to calls and change what it says? +
Yes. Every call is recorded and transcribed, and the script, intake questions and escalation rules are yours to adjust at any point.
See it live
Call the agent yourself.
The fastest way to judge it is to hear it. We’ll stand one up with your details and you can try to trip it up.
